Lanlan brings a strong background in both consulting and in-house strategy work, with experience solving complex problems across a range of industries at Monitor Deloitte. Beyond consulting, Lanlan is passionate about fostering Australia-China relations and is particularly interested in how economic, political, and cultural dynamics between the two countries shape opportunities for learning and collaboration.
She is excited to contribute to an organisation that fosters greater connections for students and young professionals in this space. Lanlan holds a Bachelor's degree in Politics & International Relations and a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Melbourne.
Tom is a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he advises leading organisations on strategy and transformation. He has a longstanding interest in Asia, having studied International Business at university and participated in the Mitsui Educational Foundation (MEF) Japan Tour.
Tom brings with him experience in student-led consulting, having served as President of 180 Degrees Consulting at Macquarie University. He is passionate about supporting the next generation of socially minded leaders and is eager to contribute to Lantern Consulting’s mission of empowering young people to drive meaningful impact across Asia and Australia.
Jazmin is a Business Continuity Manager at a Fortune 500 company, where she manages the Business Continuity Program in Australia and New Zealand and supports broader resilience efforts across the Asia-Pacific. She was previously a Risk and Resilience Analyst at Deloitte. Outside of her professional endeavours, she is currently the President of the Young Diplomats Society and a member of the U.S. Consulate's Youth Advisory Council for 2025.
She has a deep interest in Asia-Australian relations, driven by her personal experience and is compounded with her experience as a Delegate with the Australia-Indonesia Youth Exchange Program and was recognised as an Emerging Leader with La Trobe Asia's Free and Open Emerging Leader Program.
Gavin Choong graduated with First Class Honours and the Sir John Monash Medal from a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University. He is now an Associate to Her Honour Judge Burchell, the Head of the Commercial Division at the County Court of Victoria. He was previously the 25th Australian Youth Representative to the United Nations and continues to be a youth and human rights advocate. In 2024, Gavin completed his term as a Global Youth Representative for Amnesty International.
Gavin has been recognised as a Top 100 Future Leader by the Australian Financial Review and was included on the 40-under-40 Most Influential Asian-Australians by Asialink and Johnstone Partners in 2023. Gavin was also a New Colombo Plan Scholar, receiving a scholarship to study in Hong Kong for six months from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Jack is an economics student at the University of Sydney. On campus, he serves as the President of BusinessOne Consulting, a student-run consulting society working with high-growth startups such as Crimson Education and Eucalyptus. Professionally, he is a Research Assistant at the Lowy Institute, Australia’s leading international policy think tank.
Lily is a Project Leader at Beanstalk AgTech, a leading venture and advisory firm driving profitable and sustainable agrifood systems across the Asia-Pacific. She has worked closely with startups, agribusinesses, and government bodies on ESG, strategy, sustainability and market access. Her work spans national programs to accelerate digital agriculture transformation in Indonesia and initiatives strengthening Australia-Vietnam collaboration in Climate Smart Agriculture innovation.
Before joining Beanstalk, Lily was a management consultant with Bain & Company and several boutique firms, supporting multiple ASX 100 companies across diverse industries in strategy development, revenue growth, and cost transformation.
Lily is deeply passionate about building sustainable agrifood systems and believes innovation is essential to achieving net‑zero emissions and long-term food security. She is particularly interested in how technology, policy, and cross‑sector collaboration can shape a resilient agrifood future for the Asian-Australian region.
